We are a young team that left Spain in 2009 and we are in London to create this beautiful project. At the request of our "walkers" we grew up in Paris, Dublin, Berlin, Malaga, Cordoba and Budapest, teaching these cities to thousands of Spanish speakers. We are professional guides and we are madly in love with every corner of the cities we teach.
Enjoy Segovia through its Legends and Mysteries, on a surprising walk full of enigmas and legends and with stories that will not leave you indifferent, where the real and the fantastic go hand in hand.
During the activity we will walk through the historic center, starting by discovering the legend of Alfonso VI the Brave about the reconquest of Madrid.
Our guides will surprise you with the mystery of the Devil's Bridge in Segovia before walking through one of the most emblematic viewpoints in the city, the Mirador de la Canaleja , where we will immerse ourselves in the legend of the dead woman .
We will pass through the Plaza de Medina del Campo to learn the mysterious story behind the queen's hair and as we enter the Jewish quarter we will address the legend of the Casa de los Picos , one of the most representative monuments of the city. What was Philip II's secretary, Antonio Pérez, hiding?
The story of the Jewess known as Marisaltos is another of the great Segovian legends that we will tell you along with the mysteries that await the Plaza Mayor , the Marquis of Arco Street or the Canonjías neighborhood.
While admiring the beauty of the city At nightfall, we will end one of the most tragic stories that the Alcázar of Segovia holds within its walls.
From November 29 to January 6, Segovia dresses up in its best clothes to celebrate Christmas and on our night walk we will be infected by this magical atmosphere . Along our tour we will be able to find unique lighting , such as that of the Magic Box in the Plaza Mayor , or stroll through the charming Christmas market that we will find spread across some of the main streets and squares of the city. Near the Aqueduct we will also come across activities that brighten the days of the residents and visitors of Segovia, such as the Christmas train or the ecological skating rink . During our visit we will delve into some Segovian traditions for these dates, such as the old custom of the Mayor of Mozos . We will discover what the curious Turkey Race consists of, when the San Silvestre Segoviana is celebrated or what the Advent and Christmas Cycles are. In addition, if what you like are nativity scenes , our official guide can recommend some to visit during your free time in the city.
