Our tour begins with a discovery of a passageway that once connected the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba with the Umayyad Alcazar . Nearby, we can admire the Alcazar of the Christian Monarchs and learn how it has evolved over 2,000 years.
We'll be amazed by the story of a couple of very unusual lovers who left their mark on Córdoba forever. Plus, you'll have the chance to take home the original and authentic recipe for our most typical dish, Salmorejo Cordobés.
We will walk through a labyrinth that leads us to a small square and to the outside of the wall of Córdoba , next to the Cairuán Street promenade.
During this evening walk, we will also have the pleasure of meeting some of the most illustrious Cordobans who have left their mark on human history, such as the Muslim philosopher Averroes ; Seneca , the Roman politician and philosopher; and the ophthalmologist Al-Gafequi .
We'll see one of the most striking and striking buildings in our city's historic center: the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters.
