Free Tour Street Art Málaga: Soho and Lagunillas

Get to know a different Malaga, the most artistic, cultural and alternative Malaga through this Free Street Art Tour in which we will visit the famous neighborhoods of Soho and Lagunillas. On this tour we will start from one of the backbone streets of Soho, Calle Casas de Campo, to discover how this entire neighborhood was transformed from 2015 with the MAUS (Málaga Arte Urbano Soho) project with the presence of international artists such as Obey or Roa that have left their mark on these Malagueñas streets to become a modern, different area, full of color, expression and very cultural. It was intended to promote a port neighborhood degraded by appearance and fame and it was achieved because today here we find the best places in the cultural field such as the Soho Theater, restaurants for Gamers or La Fábrica de la Cerveza Cruzcampo among others that are samples of that new social and urban identity that give it a unique singularity. On our tour we will discover international artists but also local artists without forgetting the walls of free expression always in continuous artistic movement: DFace, Obey, Jose Luis Puche, Dadi Dreucol, Boa Mistura, Okuda or Lalone among others. Afterwards we will visit the CAC area (Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga) and, in large part, responsible for this artistic awakening of the area. We will see some of the most hidden graffiti from the Alameda but also, we will discover another type of wall art such as baroque paintings of the 18th century, very artistic initiatives that the city of Malaga has welcomed such as the Meninas Street Gallery or the fun invasion of pixels by Invaders . All this without forgetting the figure of Picasso and the Light Painting technique as well as his later influence on Belin, an artist from Jaén of whom we have a wonderful exhibition in the Plaza de la Judería.
