Kotoha was a fantastic guide. The tour was in a busy area, so some of her delivery could’ve been a bit louder, but overall- very supportive and accommodating!

Sachi was very knowledgeable, patient and interesting. Had a lot of patience to all our questions

So much to see and learn about this city. All of the symbolism and rituals in the shrines and temple areas was very interesting. Lots of food recommendations from our guide, however, I could not remember where any of them were located even if I wanted to try to return. A food tour is a definite must for me on my next trip to Tokyo.

No se canceló el tour a pesar de que solo eramos dos personas y la guía. Nos encantó el tour con Dai, muy simpática y agradable. Kotoha, was a lovely local who showed us Asakusa/ Sensoji, told stories of the language, the area, and how Buddhism became a religion in Japan. She showed us some of the main back streets in Asakusa, street food outlets that are preferred by locals and also run by locals which was a nice touch to the tour. She's very helpful, offering to take pictures of us throughout the tour, for example.

Our guide Sachi is a Tokyo native who knows every corner of the neighbourhood, and that local knowledge made all the difference. She brought Asakusa's history to life — from the iconic Senso-ji Temple to Japanese traditions, religion, and culture — in a way no guidebook ever could with full of humour. The most memorable moment? Sachi shared photos of her great-great-grandparents who were residents of Tokyo in their traditional clothes! If you're visiting Tokyo, highly recommend this tour.
