I like culture and history, I have visited very beautiful places in Japan loaded with history and symbolism, I definitely like the less populated areas of Japan, greener, mountains, rivers, that tranquility after the bustling city is unmatched.
We will meet near the Hanakawado police station as we exit Asakusa station. Without wasting a second we will be able to admire the imposing Sumida River and the Azuma Bridge.
To one side of these begins the Sumida Park . We will begin by admiring these places with an incredible view of the buildings on the other side of the river that show the most modern Tokyo, contrasting with our main objective of the tour: the Asakusa District.
We will continue walking towards the Senso-Ji Temple, starting at the Kaminarinon gate and continuing along the Nakamise shopping street.
We will arrive at the next gate called hozomon and before the expected temple we will be able to appreciate the great five-story pagoda, to proceed to visit the Senso-ji temple. We will continue visiting the Asakusa shrine, learning the difference between the latter.
During our free tour we will appreciate the rich history of traditional Japan and many of its symbols , without leaving out current facts and information that will be useful during your trip.
We will conclude our free tour after two hours and/or two hours and thirty minutes, near Hoppy St.
We will meet at the exit of Asakusa Station, you can take exit number 4 or 5 and walk to the meeting point next to the Hanakawado Police Station. I will be carrying a leather backpack and a sign that says Guruwalk in red letters.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
