The dark secrets tour by Bryant is by far the best walking tour I’ve ever been on! I’ve been to many walking tours in Japan and Bryant was able to so clearly articulate the intricacies of the dark side of Tokyo that blew all of our minds. Highly recommend!

Parisa gave us a fantastic tour of Tokyo’s “red light” district. She truly enlightened us about its secrets and answered all our questions, many of which we had beforehand. Her infectious enthusiasm for making our experience great was truly inspiring. I would highly recommend her. The best part was that she’s from Europe and her background knowledge of the region made the conversation easy.

Orie was a great guide, sharing details and information about a side of Tokyo that you don't really hear about. It was interesting to understand the background to alot of it and she made sure it was interactive with lots of opportunity for questions. I also appreciate all the research she conducted on our behalf 😊

A one complete package to see night life in busy and crowdy area in Tokyo. We gained more insights about Tokyo and several things that being swept under the carpet that we as a tourist might not recognize from media, but here with this tour did open wided our eyes.

Really enjoyed this walking tour of Shinjuku. I learned of interesting insights from our guru guide and left the tour with more knowledge than when I began. The route we took was good with the perfect amount of walking in between stops. I will recommend this tour to others who wish to gain more knowledge on the Shinjuku area.

Of all the tours I did in Japan, this Dark Side tour of Shinjuku was one of my favourites. Our guide, Bryant, did an excellent job of explaining the socio/economic/cultural issues that drive the "dark side" of Tokyo. It was very interesting and Bryant was an excellent communicator. There were 6 of us in total on this tour, and it made for an intimate and almost personalized experience. HIGHLY recommend this tour and Bryant in particular for people wanting to learn a little more/deeper than your standard fare tour about history and culture.
