Great to meet you, I am Ben. I founded the local guide team in Ho Chi Minh city with knowledgeable and passionate co-hosts Daniel, Bob, Emmie, Den, Lily, Urri, Hani, and others who are well-trained. We are university students who are from rural areas Vietnam and come to Ho Chi Minh City to study at the university. Saigon's food scene is renowned for its diversity and flavors, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam. Exploring the city's streets, tasting dishes from different regions, and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere would be an unforgettable adventure. this evening food walking tour with me when most of the street vendors open for business. You will taste cuisine from North, Central, and South Vietnam.
Get picked up at the meeting point, and then we leave the tourist area behind and walk to the local area. Start your food adventure in the non-tourist district.
I designed the tour with many dishes with small bites. You can order as much as you want, and if you feel full, you can skip some food stops on the tour. However, you can watch how vendors make the dishes and take pictures. Most of the food stops, and we will share meals to eat together.

Note:
- Can you guys please bring a small bill of cash in DONG to pay for the local food and tip? the local food vendors only accept the local currency
- We might have to skip some dishes if the vendors are not open the food stalls on that day.
We will meet at the meeting point, Huyen Sy church ( 1 Tôn Thất Tùng, Phường Phạm Ngũ Lão, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Việt Nam) . And then we start to walk to the first food location.
We will start the tour from here, we will pick you up in front of the Church. Please come on time, otherwise, people have to wait for you. Note: Please DON'T COME HUNGRY. COME FAMISHED:)
Bo La Lot 1. We fill our stomachs with specialty food in town " Bo La Lot", the southern dish origin, learning the story of how this family business has been opening for 28 years and became famous. This restaurant was selected by Michelin and Anthony Bourdain used to eat here.
Grill banana and Sticky rice 2. Next stop, watch the lady vendor grill banana and sticky rice at the corner of the middle of the street, and then you have a small bite of this hot dish right after she cooked
Vietnamese Pizza 4. Explore the local area, where you can grab a beer to drink while walking like a gangster in town to the third dish called "Vietnamese Pizza" from Central Highland Area.
Fresh sugar cane juice 5. Catch your breath by trying the fresh sugar cane juice at the second-hand and seafood markets.
Street food market 8. Last stop, we cross the street to explore other districts and stop at the most famous street food market and biggest flower market. Explore more dishes such as grilled rice crackers and drink homemade rice wine from a lady vendor, one food challenge, and dessert. We walk to the main road and take a cab to return!
End of the tour We will take a cab to return to your hotel.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
