Hi, I'm Melissa. I am passionate about nature and knowing the most remote and hidden places (even in my city). I love going for a walk, sharing with new people, and making this activity an unforgettable experience.

Tour description

This free tour will take you back in time and discover that before the arrival of the Spanish in the city, two large indigenous communities inhabited and coexisted: the Incas and the Mapuches. You will learn about the oldest and most important architectural landmarks concentrated in the heart of the city and how they merge with the new lifestyle of Chilean society.

The tour has an educational purpose, a critical view of the city and information of interest so that you can enjoy and broaden your perspective, above all, providing information of interest that you don't get on a conventional tour.

Also during the tour you will get information about places of interest: restaurants, bars, places to visit in the city and its surroundings so that you can make the most of your stay in Chile.

During the free tour we will make the following stops/visits:

  • Plaza de Armas-Plaza Mayor (meeting point),
  • Chilean post office
  • National History Museum
  • Municipality of Santiago
  • The Cathedral and the Archbishopric
  • Portals: Bulnes and Fernando Concha
  • Royal Company Cinema
