The tour with Arturo was incredibly interesting. Arturo knows a lot about the local flora and fauna. We could observe many different bird species and Arturo also showed us local plants. We were picked up at Quilín metro station which was very nice and convenient for us. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Santiago and are interested in nature THIS is your tour. Full recommendation!!!
It was not a difficult trail to do, but the weather was very hot. Arturo was very attentive from the beginning, starting with arranging a convenient meeting point—for example, picking us up at the nearest metro station located near a mall instead of the park. This made it easy to find and get to. Additionally, he provided lessons on things beyond the trail, such as bird-watching, which has now made me enjoy hiking even more.
This is not a pristine wilderness, but an area on the edge of a housing estate, but still there are lots of interesting birds and plants. Arturo is a wealth of information and knows a lot of the Mapucho and Quechua names for the local birds. I enjoyed exploring Arturo’s backyard.
Arturo es un amante de la naturaleza y te lo transmite constantemente en el tour. Mostrándote recovecos, flores, y por supuesto todas las especies de pájaros que conoce a la perfección. Un tour muy agradable y totalmente recomendable
