This tour is fabulous! 👍🏼 We have done many GuruWalk tours in cities all over the world, and Damián is probably the best tour guide we have ever had. He was born in Santiago and is so knowledgeable about the history, culture, and politics of his city. This tour is anything but boring -- Damián is a very engaging and passionate story teller. We can't recommend him highly enough. Great route also. You will get to go in a few churches and market areas and see important government buildings and historical locations. Book this tour! Excellent guided tour through STGO! Very informative, delivered in a smart and humorous way. Our guide Damián was super friendly, has a lot of knowledge about the history of Chile and shared fantastic restaurant tips. Highly recommended!
Diese Tour mit Damián war etwas ganz Besonderes und so wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe. Ich hab mich gefühlt als würde ich mit meinem Bestie durch Santiago laufen - jemand, der alles über Geschichte, Kultur, Identität und die Rolle bedeutender Frauen weiß und das mit unfassbar viel Herzblut, Humor und Leidenschaft teilt. Ich habe so viel gelernt, mega viel gelacht und mich total connected gefühlt. Perfekt für die ersten Tage in Santiago und eine absolute Herzensempfehlung für alle, die Chile wirklich fühlen und verstehen wollen. ✨
Damien was amazing. He's animated and funny and tells history like a soap opera. He knows a lot about the area and can give really good insights into why things are the way they are. He's also able to explain the political climate today which was so essential for me to understand Chilean culture. He went waaaay out of his way to help me with my trip through WhatsApp after the tour. I enjoyed his tour so much that I literally ditched my next day's tour (which I had paid for!) to join his last minute. He has such a great personality and was super respectful and kind to everyone. I don't remember ever having a better tour guide than Damien. He's the kind of person that makes you feel like you're long time friends. Both of my tours had only a small group so it was very personalized. I really can't say enough good about him. I could go on and on but have to end my review at some point so just one takeaway: Book him right now! Tsiaooo 💅 🙂
