Hi! I'm Diego. I-m born and raised in Santiago and I'm a born traveler, father of a baby boy and music aficionado.
I have cycled more than 5 thousand kilometers along Chile in Atacama, Carretera austral, Valle del elqui, Cajón del maipo and also parts of Argentina. I've also done several hikes in Chile as well, so I can give lots of recomendations for those who are looking for outdoor adventures.
I did my whole college training in Vaparaíso where I also became a tour guide for cruise passangers. I gave lessons of English as a foereign language in a remote school into the andes for 5 years, until my life changed when I became a father 3 years ago . That's when I decided to take apply my teaching skills towards sharing all my experiences in this country to all the visitors that have come to enjoy our wonders!
Informative and a nice blend of culture, history and bits you won't read in the history books. Very professional, kind and conscious about everyone's comfort. Highly recommend 💜
We loved our Yungay tour with Diego. He helped us gain a real appreciation for one of the lesser-known, but incredibly rich and historic parts of the city. His depth of knowledge and passion made it such a meaningful experience. It truly felt like we were walking through the city with a knowledgeable friend.
Diego is able to relate the history of the place visited with interesting behind the scene story and in a way easy to understand. I enjoyed the tour very much.
I genuinely could not reccomend Diego enough, he was so insightful whilst also making it fun. He has a great sense of humour and knows so much about the area and the country in general. I loved that he explained about the country, its culture and the language whilst on the tour.
Diego was a very knowledgeable guide who used humour throughout the tour to help make the walk even more entertaining. We would highly recommend this to anyone interested in knowing more about the unknown aspects of Santiago and Chilean history.
