I am passionate about the outdoors and naturalism. I love to do activities such as mountaineering, trekking, bushcraft and scuba diving, among others.
Get to know Chile's nature, one step away from Santiago!
When you book this tour, you will visit the Quebrada de Macul, a natural park where you can learn about Chile's flora and fauna.
This excursion will take you deep into the mountains, an experience you will certainly not forget.
We will meet at the entrance of the natural park and enter the Quebrada de Macul. We begin the ascent through a small valley, through a forest, with beautiful views. We will try to reach the bottom of the ravine, where there are two small waterfalls. Finally, we start the return to the park entrance, passing along the banks of the stream that flows through the creek.
The hike is 8 km (5 miles), round trip.
It is a hike of moderate difficulty, designed for people who enjoy hiking and nature. It is recommended to wear appropriate footwear for walking on rocky terrain. We also recommend carrying a backpack with water, a snack, sun protection and protection against the cold, depending on the season.
We finish the tour at the starting point, that is, at the entrance of the Quebrada de Macul Natural Park, around 2:00 pm.
We will meet at the entrance to the Quebrada de Macul Natural Park, located on Avenida Diagonal Las Torres s/n, Municipality of Peñalolén. You can identify me by the GuruWalk badge that I will have with me, we can also coordinate a meeting via WhatsApp.

This is the highest point we will reach on this tour. It is a small waterfall at the bottom of the Quebrada de Macul, surrounded by majestic mountains all around you.
On the way back, we will take a detour to pass through the Los Peumos woods, here you can see the base of the gorge, walking through a forest of Peumos trees present in the area.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
