Valencian Modernism Route
Tour description
Valencian Modernism is an important artistic movement that emerged in the Levantine area of Spain between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. We can find examples of it in the painting, sculpture and, above all, the architecture of the Valencian Community, following the French or Austrian inspirations that sought a new, free and young art.
Valencia is part of the European Route of Modernism.
We want to offer you this pleasant walk through the city of Turia to discover the main icons of Valencian Modernism in one morning. You will discover with us the Central Market, the North Station, the Reina Victoria Hotel, the Post Office Building, the Ferrer House or the Colón Market.
