Free walking tours in La Orotava

Somos de la isla y queríamos conocer un poco mas sobre ella y pasar un día en familia. El tour fue para nosotros solos asi que muchísimo mejor, pudimos hacerle todas las preguntas que se nos ocurrían y conseguimos pasar una mañana estupenda en compañía de A. María que nos explico todo con detalle , fue muy ameno.

Muy interesante

Maria gave a really good insight to the history of the island and the people. She explain all the different architecture and what they were before. A lot were convents turned into family homes or public buildings. We were confident enough after the tour to adventure further and go inside some of the places. I.e the balconies , Marie took us inside really interesting buildings that were now shops and lovely hotels were we could have lunch after. The gardens we visited were lovely and again we revisited them later in the day . All in all A brilliant tour guide thank you Maria .

She will take you around the city to the most interesting things to see and explain everything you need to know and answer all your questions. A. Maria has been an amazing guide for our visit to La Orotava. She loves her city and you can feel it when she shows it to you. Her English is not perfect but absolutely understandable and since the offer of free tours in English in the region is so sparse, we have no complaints. She does very little groups and on this occasion we had the tour for ourselves so we asked as many questions as we wanted and she made extra efforts to get us in some places that tour groups wouldn't be allowed normally. We recommend her 100% and we wish we would have had time to do the tour of Puerto de la Cruz with her too.
