Tour description

Come visit this ancient fortress city and immerse yourself in a medieval fantasy like you never imagined.

Touring the fortress is walking in the footsteps of the Knights Templar who built it, fascinated by the myths and legends that surround them. It is seeing Charlton Heston become the legendary hero that Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar was, it is wandering with Pope Luna while he is looking out of the castle windows repeating the phrase “the real Pope is me” as the legend states, or it is walking through Meereen itself with Tyrion, Missandei and Gray Worm in Game of Thrones.
Because there is a Peñíscola of history that takes us from the legendary Order of the Temple to the Pope who put all of Christianity in check.
But there is also a Peñíscola of cinema where we can recognize scenes from such fascinating films as Calabuch (1956) or Paris Timbuktu ( 1999) by Luis Garcia Berlanga; El Cid (1961) by Anthony Mann, starring Charlton Heston, Sophia Loren; or series such as El Chiringuito de Pepe, the Ministerio del Tiempo or audiovisual phenomenon Game of Thrones .

Book your route and we will leisurely explore its narrow and steep streets with an Arab structure and Mediterranean flavor. Above all, you cannot miss the Bufador , in the old town, where the sea water sneaks in causing furious snorts, its fishing cuisine and the bustle of its streets at dusk.

An offer for the senses! Reserve your route now.

Only groups of up to 6 people are allowed in this activity.
