Free tour to the Horta Labyrinth (Barcelona)
Tour description
Did you know that one of the oldest gardens in all of Catalonia still exists in Barcelona?
The Horta Labyrinth is one of the lesser-known wonders of Barcelona.
Located on the former estate of the Desvalls family and covering just over 9 hectares at the beginning of the Collserola mountain range, the Parque del Laberinto combines in perfect harmony typical elements of an 18th-century neoclassical garden and a 19th-century romantic one. The Marquis of Llupià commissioned the work to the Italian architect Domenico Bagutti, who began his work in 1794.
Cleverly decorated with vegetation, ponds, fountains and various statues, the place has been declared a Cultural Asset of Local Interest and receives thousands of visitors every year. It is a true garden-museum.
Now you have the opportunity to visit this beautiful place, which has been a municipal park since 1971, where we will be offering guided tours throughout the spring and summer of 2021.
Are you coming to meet him?
*Note: On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, entry to the Laberint d'Horta Park will cost: €2.23.
This activity is only open to groups of up to 6 people. If you are 7 or more people, you will be asked to pay per person in advance to join the tour.
