Very good tour, recommended

I highly recommend a tour with Getachew. He is extremely knowledgeable and you really feel his enjoyment of sharing this knowledge with you. It was such an enjoyable time exploring the city with him, and he showed me places that I would not have been able to find myself.

Reta was an excellent guide, punctual and very attentive. One of the highlights was the traditional coffee and the visit to Mercato.

Just finished an amazing city walking tour of Merkato and surrounds with Reta. Reta was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would definitely recommend the tour to those passing by or even living in Addis to get a different perspective. Highlight was the rooftop views of Merkato.

Good tour in addis abeba

Thank you so much Reta for this fantastic tour around Addis. It was fun to go through the places where only locals go and to understand more about the culture. The coffee stop was a great touch, and very interesting to see the real market. I wouldn’t have been able to do that myself.

Had an amazing time with Reta who showed me so much of the city over many hours, markers, cityscapes, history, museum and even gave amazing tips for the rest of my time in Addis. It’s been a gift to meet this guide who within minutes became a friend and ambassador for his great country.

Quite an experience visiting Addis Mekato with Reta! First of all, he was very flexible with starting time and meeting point. He came to meet us at the hotel and got us on a taxi to explore the market. It’s an intense and happening place and we were glad he brought his friend to help with my group of 4 seniors. Reta is personal, fun, and professional! We were glad we took this tour with him and highly recommend Reta anyone who is keen on market!

We saw a wide range of neighborhoods, markets, historic sites, and everyday local life. It gave us a much better feel for Addis beyond the main attractions. Our guide was knowledgeable and open about the history and culture, which made everything more meaningful. Absolutely worth it.

Nice young man took me alone on the tour and it was exceeded all expectations to include a combination of taxi, car hailing and walking for more than 4 hours ! I was very much educated and enlightened by Getachew. He also helped me to get a local simm card just for good measure ! Highly recommended tour with this guru

Great tour guide Reta was very funny and he told good history. Really enjoyed the tour thanks Reta.

He is great, super punctual and makes you feel very safe and personalises the tour if needed. I just wish he explained more about the history of the city of Ethiopia or when we were in the coffee ceremony (which he takes you to a great place ). I wish he explained more about the ritual itself and the tradition.
