We are a group of tourist guides, accredited in Venice and Madrid, with extensive experience in the city, both historically and culturally, as well as in leisure and gastronomy. We will be delighted if you visit Venice or Madrid with us.
Join our Hidden Venice tour to venture off the beaten path! Let’s get away from the crowd
to discover picturesque corners, gems and treasures getting also an interesting insight into
Venice past and present life (high tides and floods, how the city was built, food and drink
culture, Venetian buildings, Carnival masks are just few of the topics covered).
While the many secrets, stories and curiosities which are behind this lesser known part of
Venice are unveiled, you’ll breathe the atmosphere of the authentic local life walking along
the peaceful alleys of Cannaregio, one of the most charming areas of Venice.
From Campo Santa Fosca to Campo del Gheto Novo the tour enters a hidden part of Venice
allowing you to discover some beautiful gems and treasures (such as the statues of Rioba
and the Moors and the breathtaking Church of Madonna dell’Orto) along with an amazing
view over the northern lagoon. The tour then passes through the two main areas of the
Jewish Ghetto with its typical “skyscrapers” and synagogues ending in the Campo del Gheto
Novo.
This tour covers the central and western areas of Cannaregio district, northern Venice.
At the end of the tour many insider tips to make your trip easy and enjoyable are waiting for you!
Starting from the 1st of August for groups with more than 10 people *this tour will exclusively use radio transmitters and earphones in compliance with new municipal regulations* (the use of loud speakers or loud voice will be prohibited).
The city's noise levels make this change necessary and we are glad to offer you an even more personalized tour experience!
The Meeting Point is SAN GEREMIA Square (OLD WELL NEXT TO THE CHURCH ENTRANCE). The guide will carry a RED FLAG.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
