Legends, Crimes and Mysteries of Venice
Tour description
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Starting August 1, 2024, the Venice City Council requires tour groups to wear a hearing aid during the tour. The guide will provide one at the beginning of the tour. Since this is a free tour and hearing aids are expensive, a €10 deposit is required. This deposit will be given to the guide at the beginning of the tour and will be returned to you at the end when you return the hearing aid. It is mandatory to wear a hearing aid and pay the deposit to participate in the tour.
On this tour, we delve into one of Venice's most unknown and beautiful neighborhoods: Cannareggio, the Venetian quarter. Through its streets and corners, we'll learn about the legends, crimes, and myths of this mysterious city, along with everyday aspects of the lives of the few Venetians who still live there. Our walk will include places such as the Barefoot Bridge, the Church of the Madonna del Orto, the Mori statues, Tintoretto's House, and the Chiodo Bridge, the oldest bridge in Venice. We'll end in front of the Cemetery, next to the Casino dei Esprit.
The tour will include culinary and cultural recommendations.
