Tour description

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: From August 1st 2024, the Municipality of Venice requires tourist groups to wear a hearing aid during the activity. The guide will provide one at the beginning of the tour, since it is a free tour and the hearing aid is expensive, a deposit of € 10 is required which must be given to the guide at the beginning of the tour and which the same guide will return to you at the end when he gives you the hearing aid. IT IS MANDATORY TO BRING THE HEARING AID AND PAY THE DEPOSIT TO TAKE THE TOUR.

On this tour we will visit the most important and monumental part of Venice: the Sestiere of San Marco. We will visit the most important theatre in Venice, the Opera House of La Fenice. We will go through the alleys and sheds of the city to find one of its best kept treasures: the Palazzo Contarini del Bovolo, totally inaccessible to tourists. We will pass through the Grand Canal, the main artery of the city, very close to the most important bridge in Venice, the Rialto Bridge. And we will finish the tour by visiting the most emblematic place in Venice: St. Mark's Square, where we will find St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace, and we will learn the most curious details of the history of the Republic of Venice. There will be no shortage of recommendations, both gastronomic, about transportation or essential places that you cannot miss in Venice.

*IMPORTANT: Groups of more than 6 people are not allowed, EVEN IF THEY COME WITH DIFFERENT RESERVATIONS. The guide may refuse admission to these groups on the tour. For groups of more than 6, we have private tours for 150 euros that can be booked directly with the guide.
