Hanoi Food Tour

I joined Melody's food tour upon arriving in Hanoi and was so glad I did. Firstly, she inquired about our food allergies and foods we did not eat. She carefully explained all the food ingredients. I loved that the tour brought us to locally owned businesses. In two instances we were eating in family homes. This experience set me up for several wonderful days of exploring Vietnamese food in Hanoi. Melody was not only knowledgeable about local cuisine but about the city of Hanoi. I thoroughly enjoyed her tour.

Melody is incredibly knowledgeable, well-prepared, and speaks excellent English. I truly appreciated her authentic style and the way she shared her culture with us. We visited six different locations, and every single one was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Great introduction to less accessible Vietnamese food - trying dishes Westerners wouldn’t normally be exposed to - and visiting venues way off the beaten path. But don’t be put off - the food was terrific and the experience unbeatable. Melody was a great guide.

We had a fantastic experience with Melody! She was super friendly and professional and took us to great spots to eat a variety of things we would never have tried. It was great to be in a small group and try some really local spots. Melody catered really well to veggie dietary requirements too!

You can tell she loves her job and loves meeting new people. Thankyou Melody! Melody is lovely, excellent sense of humor, very personable. English is perfect! She showed us some incredible secret places and excellent food that I would have never ever dreamed of finding by myself. She knows her stuff and obviously enjoys her job. Sie hat uns so viel über das Leben in Vietnam erzählt, so viel Informationen über Hanoi gegeben und uns zu Streetfood Restaurants geführt, die wir ohne sie nie gefunden hätten. Wie haben Einblicke in das Leben der Menschen bekommen und hatten eine unterhaltsame und sehr herzliche Zeit. Wir würden Melody jederzeit weiterempfehlen und immer wieder eine Tour bei ihr buchen. Really enjoyed this tour and it went beyond our expectations. Melody took us to places which we surely wouldn't find on our own and encouraged us to taste food which we wouldn't buy if we were on our own. All food was great and Melody is very sweet and helpful. Highly recommend a tour with her.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tommy was an absolutely fantastic tour guide! He took us around Hanoi to some incredible vegetarian and vegan spots that we never would have discovered on our own. Many of the places were true hidden gems tucked away in small streets and local neighborhoods, which made the experience feel really authentic. Beyond the food, Tommy shared so much about Vietnamese culture and daily life. He was happy to answer all of my questions and explained everything in a way that made the city come alive. His knowledge and passion for Hanoi really showed. Tommy was also extremely accommodating, friendly, and fun to spend time with. The whole experience felt relaxed and personal rather than like a typical tour. If you're looking for a unique food experience in Hanoi—especially if you're vegetarian or vegan—I highly recommend booking a tour with him!

Die tour war wirklich super, wir waren an Orten essen wo wir niemals reingegangen wären und alles hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wir waren sieben Leute und alles Vegetarier und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Eine mochte auch keine Eier und hier wurde ebenso für eine Alternative gesorgt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden!

Die Tour mit Tommy war großartig. Wir waren in den verschiedensten Lokalen, wo wir selbst nie hingegangen wären. Das Essen und überhaupt der ganze Abend war sehr empfehlenswert.
