Welcome to Alicante, the city of light!
Ready to discover the essence of this Mediterranean city?
Well, "pa'lante, like those of Alicante"
We will meet in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento at the indicated time to begin our guided tour. We will take the opportunity to get to know this beautiful building and all the curiosities it hides. What sculptural wonder will it house inside?
We will reach the Explanada de España -a sign of identity for the people of Alicante- to submerge ourselves among the undulating mosaic of tesserae on its promenade, the sea breeze and its palm trees. How many do you think there are? We will take the opportunity to admire Casa Carbonel l and learn about the history it has to tell us.
We will go through the central square of Portal de Elche and then, that of Gabriel Miró , a romantic space where the sound of the water turns it into a haven of peace. Shall we continue? A lot of giant mushrooms are waiting for us on San Francisco street .
Walking the streets we will enter the Alicante afternoon, which is concentrated in Castaños street . In addition, in it we will find a combination of bourgeois facades, among which the Salvetti Palace stands out, a luxurious building converted into a hotel. What Spanish monarch would stay in his suites?
This visit would not be complete without talking about Alicante festivals and gastronomy , giving you a good excuse to return. In front of the Museo de las Hogueras we will share our best recommendations.
We will continue to be captivated by the stories of this ancient city while we walk through the picturesque and intricate streets of the old town. We will visit emblematic places: the co-cathedral of San Nicolás de Bari , the convent of the Most Precious Blood of Christ and the oldest church in Alicante, that of Santa María .
This is the magic of Alicante and you still haven't seen anything...
Will you join us?
