Christmas: Stories, legends and…lights!

Madrid is already illuminated, Christmas has arrived! That magical period in which the family gets together, we eat, drink, sing carols, eat roscón, decorate Christmas trees and set up the nativity scene.

We all do it, but… have you ever thought about where all these traditions come from?

Led by Víctor Bernardo - storyteller and specialist historian - and accompanied by our friends Saturn, Odin, Frey, Saint Boniface or the mysterious Celtic druids, we will tour the most magical corners of Madrid, where, surrounded by the Christmas atmosphere, we will discover the origins of Christmas itself, the nativity scene, the typical trees of these dates or why they are decorated.
We will learn why and what are the reasons why we decorate the cities with lights or the origin of our beloved and sweet Roscón de Reyes and its candied fruits.

Come follow the magical footsteps of Melchior, Gaspar, Baltasar and San Nicolás in this wonderful adventure!
