Moncloa Free Tour - Civil War
Tour description
**LAST DAYS OF THE SEASON**
**LIMITED PLACES**
The Civil War is the closest armed conflict that Spanish society has ever experienced and, although it still remains deeply in the memory of many of us, it is true that the younger generations have not, fortunately, had to experience that reality.
This does not mean that we should forget the past, and this is where MAD Experiences will take you into the toughest conflict in this country in the 20th century, in one of the key battlefields of the Siege of Madrid, Moncloa and the Parque del Oeste, a place that was “no man’s land” and where we can still see vestiges of the horror of war.
Characters such as General Vicente Rojo, José Miaja or Buenaventura Durruti will be intertwined in your lives along with Mola, Franco or José Varela.
We will come across literary figures such as Hemingway , other less famous but no less relevant ones such as Kolstov or soldiers with enormous strokes of luck. Machine gun nests, trenches and buildings that surround us are the remains of this tragic history that undoubtedly defined the Madrid of today.
MAD EXPERIENCES NEEDS YOU! GET READY!
