Essential Free walking tours of Havana

An Italian, a Mexican and a Canadian sign up for a Guru walking tour of Old Havana. We were not disappointed. Our guide, Jorge was professional and entertaining. The best part was that he was very flexible and deviated any time we asked about life in Cuba. Bodegas and ration booklets were not part of the official tour. But when we asked, he accommodated. He should be promoted to Minister of State Tourism or at the very least have his own You Tube channel. He clearly made my trip. Gracia Jorge.

We loved the tour! Laura was very informative and answered all the questions we had about the revolucion and the present situation in Cuba (and we had many!). She spent more time than expected due to that 😊 We really thank her for the amazing time!

Jorge gave us a fantastic tour with lots of insight to the local history and personal experience of life in Havana. Having done many GuruWalk tours in other countries, we would highly recommend a tour with Jorge for an authentic tour of Havana Old Town.

Pepe was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Pepe presented centuries of conflict and revolution in a very concise and easy to follow way. This was made more interesting by walking through areas relevant and connected to her talk. Pepe was happy to answer my many questions and I came away having learnt so much. Highly recommend!

The tour was amazing. Jorge is super friendly and has feo knowledge of cubas history. He to us to very interesting places and have us very cool tips. I definitely recommend him!

Jorge è disponibile, simpatico ed intrattiene molto bene. Ci siamo divertiti e i tempi sono stati piacevoli, lo raccomando molto se volete avere uno sguardo autentico su cosa è Cuba e cosa è stata in passato. Tre ore ottimamente spese, grazie ancora Jorge!

No le des más vueltas, porque no te vas a arrepentir :) Con Jorge (aunque nosotros le decíamos George 😅, perdón Jorge) el recorrido se convierte en mucho más que un paseo: es historia, cultura, risas y hasta amistad. Se nota el amor que tiene por lo que hace y consigue que cada rincón de La Habana Vieja cobre vida. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Una experiencia inolvidable que disfrutamos de principio a fin junto a mi novia. 🚶‍♂️🌴🇨🇺

Jorge is amazing!

We joined Jorge’s walking tour and absolutely loved it. Jorge not only showed us around the old city in Havana, he also gave us so much information and insights on the current economic and social situation, all while giving details on architecture and what not to miss in our free time. It was an amazing choice. Jorge showed us all wonderful squares around the city. He introduced us to the cultural aspects and recommended some good restaurants and attractions to visit. Highly recommend to book this tour if you want to get a real taste of La Havana! Alina&Giovanni
