Despite the heat over which we have no control, this was one of the best tours I have ever taken. What more can you ask for but to learn Singapore’s history from a former history teacher. Joseph was excellent. He was entertaining as well as passionate about explaining the history of Singapore from 700 years ago thru the present. So interesting to learn about the country before the British arrived, during the British tenure and modern day advances. Be prepared for several surprises. Can’t recommend this tour enough.
I would like all tour guides to be like Joseph. Honestly, the best guide Ive ever had.
Our tour was full and we were split into 2 groups of 12, each group having their own guide.... we had Joseph (Joe) From the very start, you could tell that those was going to be a great tour, with a great guide. Joe was extremely passionate abd knowledgeable, with a background of 40 years teaching history. The pace of the toyr was great, with plenty of stops (in the shade) on what was a very warm and humid day. The extra bits of providing a couple if food tastings and a list of top tips for other things to do and see and where to see them was much appreciated. Overall, a fantastic tour lead by a brilliant and engaging guide... we would highly recommend.
