Por ser un profesor de historia retirado, sabe muchísimo del tema que está platicando. Hace que el visitante se sumerja en la historia y da muchos datos muy interesantes. Es un placer tomar este tour guiado. Lo recomiendo ampliamente y cuando regrese a singapore me gustaría tomarlo de nuevo.
I used to think that Singapore is a relatively young country which is well known for its fintech development and industrialized environment. However, after taking a walking tour with Joshep, a Singaporean with 40 years experience in teaching history, my perspective shifted! The 700 years of Singapore’s history tour with him expanded my perspective about this land, considering its connection to other parts of the world. There are a lot of updates about Singapore’s ancient history that Joshep shared with us. The tour was a surprise, I think it can be called as a gem to anyone loves history, culture, and politics. I was in Singapore several times, visited most of the tourists attractions but without Joshep’s guide, I would never set my feet on the route that he guided, which I believe only the history teacher like Joshep would be able to walk us through and fill it with a lot of curiosity. Completely love it! Jo is also a nice, caring, gentle person who you will like to be around. Well done! Absolutely recommend this tour.
Highly recommended! :) We had an amazing experience on the tour with Paul. It was the best free walking tour we’ve ever been on (and trust me, we’ve done quite a few!). He provides a fully immersive introduction to Singapore’s history in a fun and engaging way. We even received a small gift at the end of the tour - you’ll have to book it to find out what it is! :)
Excellent intro to Singapore by Paul. His Socratic method really pulls everyone into the tour. Goes above and beyond the call of duty in his efforts. Make this your first stop when you visit lion city!
Incredibly insightful tour! Paul truely knows very well his city-state and its history while being fun. Super entertaining and well organised (toilet break, refreshments, pause under the shades), the tour is quite long (3h) but I haven't seen time passing honestly. Highly recommend!
