Stella - Guía turístico en Hanói

Amazing tour. Stella was a wealth of knowledge and was very understandable. Visiting the Hoa Lo Prison aka "Hanoi Hilton" is a very somber experience and especially so when Stella gives personal stories. It is a must do tour as it gives great insight to the people of Vietnam. Recommend for every visitor to Hanoi..10 star review.

Stella was incredible! She was so knowledgeable and generous in sharing so much information about what the people of Vietnam have been through. She spared no detail, it was very intense to hear about the horrors committed by France and US, yet it was extremely inspiring to know that despite that, the people continued to fight for and eventually win their independence. It is tragic that anyone should have to fight to govern their native land. It is extremely important for visitors to be aware of the history of this beautiful country, especially those of us who are visiting from countries that have committed atrocities, so we can fight against our government when they continue to perpetuate the same violence elsewhere. Stella was a generous guide. She was thoughtful, helpful, kind and answered questions we had. Along with historical information, she also shared personal accounts from her family, neighbors, and community members. We left knowing so much more about the history and also the culture of the educational system in Vietnam. This tour specifically was an interesting mix of war history and the history of the educational system and the present day educational system in Vietnam. Thank you so much, Stella. You are amazing!!!

Lovely food tour with Stella who gave us interesting history along the way. We had our 2 kids with us and she was very accommodating. Overall a fun experience and a great way to try local dishes we never would have found on our own.
