It's a good tour. I appreciated that Michael always welcomed questions and was willing to stop longer as needed, but, for the most part, kept things moving. The sights are truly interesting. I do not believe quite a few of the superlatives-- first this or first that in Africa or sub-Saharan Africa-- however, as I've spent a great deal of my life in Africa and some of the claims made about Cape Town seem quite unlikely. Still, I fully recommend the tour.

Yes David, many of the facts are astonishing to some visitors when they learn about the history of Cape Town. Including many superlatives. As a result of the advancements made during the second British occupation especially, as a direct result of their Industrial Revolution, Cape Town went on to become the first place in Sub-Saharan Africa to become a modern westernised town. This is why Cape Town is known as the Mother City. Believe it or not.

Tania, it clearly states on our GuruWalk profile that all our tours are conducted in English. As a Spanish speaking person, we suggest you rather book tours with guides who speak your language.

The tour was amazing. Michael explains with passion and knows how to share his wide knowledge. A tour with him helps you understand perfectly the historical and cultural past of this town and country, and all the struggles its people has gone through and it's going through now. He is kind and always welcoming for any questions you might have! A great tour overall, and we even had 30 extra minutes!

Second tour by this guide that was cancelled an hour or so before the tour. Don’t bother booking. Find another guide.

Lorri, your comments are inaccurate and unfair. -1- Firstly, it clearly states on our GuruWalk profile that we have a minimum number of two walkers for all our tours. -2- Secondly, this information is also sent to you when your booking was confirmed. -3- Thirdly, this information was again sent to you when you received your reminder for the walk. -4- Again, four hours prior to the start of the tour you were sent advanced information, that as per our previous communication, the tour will unfortunately not proceed. -5- Here you were also given the opportunity to modify your booking to another timeslot. -6- These messages were sent to you well in advance for both of your bookings where you were the only person who had applied for the tour.
