Katerina, we are not sure why you posted such a review. 1) On our profile it says that we have a minimum amount of two walkers for all our tours. 2) You also received this information when you made your booking. 3) Here you were further advised, that should you be the only one to book, the tour unfortunately will not happen. 4) This information was again sent to you as a reminder, prior to the tour. 5) As a courtesy, in advance, we also sent you a fourth message reminding you of the tour status. 6) As per all the previous communication, we also offered you the option of modifying your booking to another timeslot. 7) Your review is both unfair and misplaced.

Sabine you are incorrect on a few counts. Let me remind you. 1) The terms and conditions are clearly stated on the GuruWalk platform. This includes the payment recommendation, and I quote, "between €15,00 and $20,00" per person per tour. 2) The above information was sent to you when you accepted the booking, and again as a reminder prior to the tour, via auto messages, which all the walkers receive. 3) At the pre tour briefing, you were again reminded of this. You and you friend had no objection. 4) During the tour, which includes information about the colonial and political influences, your words to me Sabine, were that you, as you told me, "were open minded". In other words, you welcomed the information, even asking questions in that direction. 5) It is strange that in your review you complain about this information which is directly linked to the tour, as well as the neighbourhood. 6) What is clear, is that you are now making up excuses because all you and your friend were prepared to pay was less than €5,00 per person. Even though all the relevant information was given to you prior to the tour, and even though you accepted the terms and conditions regarding the GuruWalk platform when you confirmed your booking. 7) Sabine, what you and your friend offered to pay was not in the spirit of the GuruWalk FREE walking tours concept. 8) Please enjoy the rest of your stay in South Africa as I have already forgiven you and your friend.

Yes Sandra, I failed to report for the tour. That morning, the Mein Schiff 4 cruise ship arrived in the Cape Town port and there was a major delay at the immigration clearance for the passengers. As a result, all tours departed late. This included a group from the ship who had booked with us. So, their tour departed late as well, which meant we had a late finish, resulting us not being able to guide for you. Again, I apologise to you here like I apologised to you via WhatsApp on the day.
