The historical walk with Michael led us to places we have otherwise not seen or visited. We learned quite a bit about South Africa’s history as Michael shared his wealth of knowledge with us.
I really liked the tour, Michael gave us some very interesting and surprising facts - I'm sure I will not forget the things I've learned and him😉
This tour was exceptional. Michael has a personal viewpoint as he has family, as well as he, himself, who was very involved in the struggle for equality. He presented the history of the Cape from the first inhabitants to the people living in Cape Town today, and all that came in between. He posseses a wealth of knowledge and is so very interesting, our time flew by. We were lucky to be the only people on this tour. We love history and this tour was the best historical tour of many that we took during our 3 week stay in South Africa. If you want to learn more about apartheid, all that came before and since then, you should take THIS tour.
Michael met us at the pre-arranged meeting point...he was professional and informative from the start, the route he took was perfect for exploring our first time at V&A Waterfront. I would highly recommend him.......
