Como guía registrado en Ciudad del Cabo, ofrezco free tours en Citybowl y Bokaap, donde comparto la historia y la cultura de nuestras comunidades con el mundo. Me encantaría mostrarte nuestro vecindario. Tengo una fuerte conexión con la comunidad en general. Soy director de la asociación de turismo de Bokaap y director de Bokaap Helpers Garden, que es una organización sin fines de lucro en la ciudad que se centra en la jardinería comunitaria. También tengo un conocimiento profundo de Robben Island, ya que viví allí durante más de 10 años.
The tour with Mr Muhammad was very personalized and relaxed. We were welcomed with warm hugs into people’s homes and learned about community initiatives taking place. Our guide himself is a piece of history as he and his family are from Bokaap, therefore the storytelling was fascinating. Muhammed’s knowledge was vast and he was able to answer any questions we had. The tour gave us a good understanding and appreciation of a very unique and vibrant place and community and we appreciate all the time given to us. Highly recommend.
Great Tour through Bo-Kaap, learning about the history and the community there. I was the only one who booked the tour that day but Muhammad still was so nice to give the tour anyways which he wouldn't have had to do. Sharing his personal ties to the community and the neighbourhood and talking about Bo-Kaaps history, he made a great tour guide. If you want to learn more about Bo-Kaap than simply looking at colourful houses this is the tour to book. Highly recommend!
