Tour description

Let's walk through the heart of Morelia together.

We will begin our tour at one of the most emblematic monuments of the city: the imposing Cathedral of Morelia . We will discover its fascinating history, explore its majestic façade and delve into the most relevant details of its interior.

Next, we will head to Plaza Juarez to discover its secrets. To one side is Plaza de los Mártirez, a vibrant and lively place frequented by the people of Morelos. From there, we will visit the Museo Casa Natal de Morelos , one of the main heroes of the Independence of Mexico.

We will continue our tour to the first building founded in Morelia, the city originally known as Valladolid , and explore some of the most significant temples and former convents in the city, today the Casa de las Artesanías.

Along the way, we will also visit; an old 18th century mansion with its Arabic art, the Ocampo Theatre, the Colegio de San Nicolás , the Clavijero Palace, the traditional Sweets Market , and one of the unmissable temples , Las Rosas , where a 17th century altarpiece made of gold leaf is kept inside.
Local culture is expressed in every corner.

This tour promises to be a unique immersion in the culture, tradition and history of Morelia.
