Tacos 101 was my first and definitely not my last food tour. Memo has been doing this for a very long time and it shows! He knew all the best places to take us and really provided a wonderful variety of the tacos that Puerta Vallarta offers. He was professional, funny, interesting and extremely knowledgable not only about his adopted city but the restaurants and food carts we went to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Memo, our guide, is knowledgeable and professional. He brought us to places beyond the tourist strip (Malécon). Perfect as an introduction to the Romantic Zone neighbourhood and one less dinner itinerary to plan!

Omar was very warm and welcoming. We booked the tour a couple hours before and were surprised that we were the only members of the group. This did not impact the experience at all and we are appreciative that he still chose to run it with just the 2 of us as he was coming from over an hour away to show us around. Omar took us down the boardwalk, explaining the history, telling us about the art, showing us different street foods, allowing us time to try the ones we wanted. Then we walked over to Zona Romantica and he showed us the pier, and then pointed out all the different bars, clubs, and nightlife. We aren't much of bar goers/clubbers but seeing the vibrancy and hearing the history was very interesting. If you are into that nightlife, this would be a great tour to learn what PV has to offer and where is best for your personal preferences. Omar also shared some of his very delicious aged tequila with us along the tour and it felt like a very personal touch. I would recommend!

A very interesting and entertaining introduction to Puerto Vallarta

Great guide, great tour, great introduction to PV. Will take another of his tours before we leave. He donates the tips to the local library and schools.

The tour is great if you like seafood of course. Memo took us to places where I would want to come back to for some great seafood tacos, ceviche etc.. I would have never thought of buying fresh oysters on the beach, but now I will.
