Free Tour of the French Revolution and Napoleon
Tour description
Embark on an exciting journey through history as you explore iconic sites of the French Revolution in the heart of Paris.
The tour begins at Place Vendôme, where, among imposing buildings and elegant shop windows, you will discover the vestiges of the absolute monarchy and the first rumours of a revolution that would change the course of history. We will immerse ourselves in the first moments of terror and uncertainty in the Tuileries until we reach Place de la Concorde, where the guillotine took its toll and figures such as Robespierre and Marat left an indelible mark on the history of France. Passing by the National Assembly we will reach the Invalides, an emblematic place that marked the beginning and end of the Revolution, and the rise of the Napoleonic Empire that marked the close of a revolutionary era.
We will conclude our tour on the Pont Alexandre III, with stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, symbol of a France that has reinvented itself.
