Rio / Salvador / Bogotá By Foot was born as a direct result of the union between the owners of Lapa & Art store, business men who believe in the touristic potential of the city- and a special group of friends with different academic backgrounds (law, theater, geography, tourism, museology) who shares two things in common: the Rio de Janeiro credentials in tourism and a lot of love for Rio de Janeiro. The business know-how was aligned with the tour guides experience and expertize. After years of tourist work, we realized that free walking tours services offered in Rio de Janeiro city needed improvements and modernization.
