Discovering the oldest and most picturesque district of Lisbon!
We will walk through the only hill in the city that remained intact after the 1755 earthquake that completely destroyed the city.
We will start from the Praça do Comercio, bordering the Tagus River and then entering the typical streets of Alfama , also seeing the highest part of the hill where the beautiful Castle of S. George, the symbol of Lisbon, is located.
We will see the oldest church in the city and we will know 4 of the most beautiful viewpoints in Lisbon,
and in one of these "miradouri" we will be able to admire the maximum expression of tiles in the world, that is , the miradouro of S. Luzia!
We will meet the patron Saint Vincent and the only and true saint loved by the Lusitanos:
Saint Anthony of Lisbon and not of Padua... and we are going to find out why!
We will end the tour tasting the famous ginginha, the typical Portuguese liquor at the home of one of the most famous faces.
