Tour description

Do you like to get off the beaten track and want to discover what few see ? Are you less interested in history and more interested in finding places with a local atmosphere ? Are you unique photo hunters ? Or do you simply already know Valletta but have you been wanting more ?
Well this is your tour!

On this route we will focus on the lesser known and popular places in the city, but with no less charm and importance, walking the side streets of this city declared a World Heritage Site precisely because each street is unique.

We do want you to know, before you start this tour, that this tour IS NOT SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE as we will tackle steep slopes, areas with stairs, and areas with little or no sidewalks. In addition to our always "pleasant" temperature. Or as the poet beautifully summed it up, we will be visiting "the bloody streets of Valletta".
We are also going to talk about controversial issues and we want you to ask EVERYTHING that comes to mind. So if you are not willing to touch taboos and accept all points of view , this tour is not for you either.

But if your spirit and body allow it, you should not miss this walk in which we will show you from some of the most spectacular buildings to the most charming alleys in the city.
For example, we will visit the oldest theater in use in Europe, the other Valletta cathedral and palaces and houses of corsairs, nobles and religious, as well as some of the most authentic streets , full of history, stories and anecdotes and with some of the best views of the city and its surroundings, and also streets that you have already visited, but that hide secrets only for locals .

We will make a stop to have a drink or rest, so we recommend that you bring some extra money to have something cold in the middle of the tour.

And as always in our tours, at the end we stay with you to solve any doubts you may have about what we have seen or about what you still have to see :)

This is not a classic free tour, but you will enjoy the visit with our guides, official guides with adequate training, professionals who have guided their lives, their passion and their trade.

That is why the suggested price per person is €10 to keep all the tours with the highest quality and sustainable. If this makes you doubt, take a look at the opinions!

We recommend you start with our daily tour "Discovering Valletta, UNESCO capital" , to understand our history , as well as learn more about our gastronomy , the main filming locations or unique aspects in one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in the world (remember that We don't say it: UNESCO says it!).

And with our free tour "Mdina and Rabat, the most traditional Malta" you can discover the ancient capital of Malta and one of our most traditional towns in the only free tour in a Maltese town . Doing this tour together with Valletta will allow you to learn about our history and understand the Maltese character and reality while you discover the most beautiful cities on our islands.

And if you are looking for something more "exotic" , more tailored to your needs or if you simply want to consider more options, be sure to take a look at our paid tours on our website, which include classic visits such as the megalithic temples of Malta (unique in the world). to other unique ones, such as ghost tours or visits to cemeteries (not both at the same time... let's hope)
