We are several guides in love with Venice, some are authors of several guides and articles about the most beautiful city in the world, others historians. Our specialty is to make our clients happy by showing them culture, history but also leisure and gastronomy. We are looking forward to showing you Venice.
MYSTERIES AND LEGENDS OF VENICE
San Marcos and the Silk Road.
This is the most secret route to get to San Marcos where no one arrives without seeing the most beautiful parts of the island along the way.
We are going to see the most important things in Venice but on a secret tour through the less crowded streets and squares.
The idea is that if you have just one day in Venice you can see everything and see things that no one else sees.
We will start at Fondamente Nove from where we can see the Cemetery Island of San Michele and the Casin dei Espiritus until we reach the ancient Scuola Grande di San Marco and today Ospedale Civile, up to Santa Maria Formosa where the famous courtesan Veronica Franco received the King of France, and then see the Bridge of Sighs away from the crowds and be able to take the coolest photos.
We end up in Piazza San Marco where 1,600 years of the history of the Serenissima await you.
Enjoy this tour in the evening to explore the area with fewer people. You'll thank me!
*IMPORTANT:
The tour is free of charge for groups of less than 6 people, EVEN IF THEY COME WITH DIFFERENT RESERVATIONS. The guide may refuse admission to groups of more than 6 people on the tour unless they accept the minimum payment per person. For groups of more than 6 there is a minimum charge of 10 euros per person, even if they have made separate reservations.
In a city like Venice where a coffee costs 5 euros it is still a bargain.
With us you not only have a guide but a friend who you can count on to make your trip unforgettable.
We meet in front of the Jesuit Church in Campo dei Gesuiti very close to the Fondamente Nove vaporetto stop. You will recognize me because I will be carrying a VIOLET umbrella and my guide badge.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
