Free Walking Tours In Venice in the afternoon

Having used GuruWalk many times, had a good idea of quality & we wasn’t disappointed. Mary was fun & interesting, showing us many places of interest & not what every tourist gets to see or understand. Highly recommended !

Mary was funny, warm, and witty. She was very helpful when we asked general questions and even walked us to nearest stop to go back to our hotel. The route shows you a less touristy side of Venice and should be done on first day to get an idea of the city. Enjoyed it!

Maria Laura was professional and highly competent. She managed a challenging rainy day with patience and skill, handling difficult attendees gracefully. She enhanced her explanations with laminated diagrams about Venice's construction, Marco Polo’s travels, and more. The chosen itinerary was excellent, though I would have preferred more details about the neighborhoods we visited and less repetition of Venice’s history and customs, which I had already covered in another tour the previous day.

The tour with Maria was amazing. She was up for many questions, she gave good recommendations even for future visits in Venice and she was even very responsive after the tour when I asked for the exact name of the biscuits she mentioned we could get as souvenir. I loved the fact that it was a city friendly tour especially to prevent the Serenissima locals to have a fully crowded city centre.

We really enjoyed our walking tour with Annachiara. We visited many "off the beaten track" areas of Castello and Cannaregio. Nice to see and learn about parts of Venice that aren't overrun by tourists.
