I did the tour on my own. My husband thought it would be a huge group that we often see.. it was a small group of 3.. our tour was fun.. I giggle and smiled every second. I have learned so much about this cute city. I am so glad I did it! He was amazing!
Tour divertente e interessante. Non troppo lungo come altri tutor, ed è meglio così. Poi ti fornisce gli spunti per continuare da solo la visita.
So, I booked a tour and it was an *experience” Our guide, Nuno, is basically Porto’s human Wikipedia—if Wikipedia had a sarcastic sense of humor and zero filter. Nuno knows Porto like the back of his hand, and by “back of his hand,” I mean he could probably tell you what the cobblestones had for breakfast in 1755. His knowledge is next-level, and he’s not afraid to share his opinions, which range from “interesting” to “wait, did he just say that out loud?” If you want a tour that’s equal parts history lesson and roast session, Nuno’s your guy. Nuno’s humor is… an acquired taste. Imagine your edgy uncle at Thanksgiving, but with a Portuguese accent and a passion for 16th-century architecture. At one point, he made a joke that made me laugh, cry, and question my life choices—all within 10 seconds. If you’ve got a strong stomach and a love for the absurd, you’ll survive (and maybe even thrive). If not, well… consider it a character-building exercise. Despite the occasional emotional rollercoaster, Nuno’s tour was unforgettable. He’s like that one friend who’s both brilliant and slightly terrifying, but you keep hanging out with them because they’re oddly entertaining. If you can handle 90 minutes of unfiltered wisdom and questionable jokes, I highly recommend spending time in Nuno’s company. Just maybe don’t bring your easily offended aunt. Thanks, Nuno, for the history lesson—and the therapy session I’ll probably need later.
Thank you Nuno for sharing your passion and knowledge about this lovely city! we enjoyed this walking tour and had fun!
Great!
Worth doing the tour
Nuno was amazing! Very fun and entertaining tour!
Nunu was a nice guy, had some great jokes. Walking Tour covers main sights and was easy pace and length. He knows the city well, a true local. Nunu is very pro-Zionism, Capitalism and the Catholic church. He said he is a big fan of Bibi, and supports foreign investment into Portugal. He also has connections to the Free Masons of Porto and invited us to join the occult. I appreciated the graphic descriptions of priests molesting kids and old ladies getting hit by trucks, love that edgy humor!
Nuno was a great tour guide! The tour was fun, interesting, and very well-balanced with lots of useful information. Nuno was super helpful, answered all our questions, and gave great suggestions for things to do afterward. However, not everyone in the tour group enjoyed the tour because of the jokes—his humor is quite sarcastic, which might not be for everyone. I’d recommend reading about the tour beforehand to make sure you’re okay with that style and won’t get upset easily if you don’t like the joke. Overall, it was a great experience, and we really enjoyed it!
Tour was as funny as the description promised
We had a great tour with Nuno! His tour included everything we had in mind and any questions outside of the topics he was able to answer. Overall hilarious and very complete. Muito obrigada Nuno!
We laughed out way through Porto. A fantastic, enjoyable experience Thank you
Very funny and friendly guy! It was a pleasure and we learned a lot about Porto :)
I love the experience, knowledge about his city, funny moments, and moments of drama during the tour. I could say it is a better way to know about history. We really appreciate your time with us!
Thanks for a great tour, Nuno! Very informative and lots of laughs as promised! You even managed to get a high 5 from our discerning 9 month old 🖐
Read the description; the tour is meant to have a sarcastic touch! The tour emphasizes on the earliest days of Porto and its origins, the difference in lifestyle for someone who lives here now compared to 20 years ago and more and delves into Port wine. Super informative!
We had a great fun walk with Nuno, didn’t laugh at all his jokes but he was entertaining throughout the walk!
A brilliant insight into Porto beyond the guidebooks. Nuno was great fun and it was a great way to orientate ourselves around Porto. Would highly recommend!
A great tour with a highly informative guide : funny, opinionated and sassy - makes for a fun tour but if you offend easy or don’t have a sense of humour go on a boring tour
Nuno was great! We met at the time agreed. Unfortunately for him a group of 6 people cancelled at the last minute, so there were only 2 of us on the tour. He asked if we still wanted to go and we did 😀 Nuno was very funny and very informative. We learned a lot about the city while enjoying ourselves. He also gave time to stop for a bathroom break & we could grab a beer on the way. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Porto, except for religious fanatics or overly sensitive people 😅
Funny and interesting tour!
Very nice, looks after the participants! Knows a lot about porto and shares it in a funny way:) recommend!!
Nuno is the best and exceeded our expectations! My friend and I were the only two people on the tour, and we were so impressed with how much energy he brought to make sure we got the best tour possible. He’s very funny and it made the historical information that much more memorable. Highly recommend!
One of the best waking tours I've been on. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city. He showed us important landmarks and many hidden ones. We started from the other side of the bridge and walked all the way down to the Ribeira taking the most scenic and breath taking views. I loved his sense of humour too. Would highly recommend everyone visiting Porto for the first time to go on a walking tour with Nuno.
We didn't have any LOL moments, but ...he is trying to be funny, sarcastic, and he tries hard, so maybe laugh a little on his tour? He took us to beautiful places, but only had negative things to say. Atheists need not be so dismissive of beautiful churches. As an atheist, I know this.
