Malik was an excellent guide with a lot of knowledge of the history of Galle pointing out the various features including the turtles & parrot fish in the sea. We were enjoying the tour so much that I was annoyed with myself that we had to leave the group early due to the heat (33degrees) so wear a hat and take water.

Malik was the perfect guide! A good mix of historical facts & dates, and cultural insights. Great English. Super knowledgeable about everything. It was definitely the best start of our Galle stay, as after this, we could understand the layout of the city better, as well as the rich past of the town and the country. We had a private tour- Malik spent 2.5hrs showing us around Galle Fort enthusiastically and knew everything about history and culture. We finished the tour in a temple and church where he explained a lot about Buddhism and Sri Lanka’s religions 😍

Malik ha sido, sin lugar a dudas, el mejor guía que hemos tenido en Sri Lanka. Tanto por la facilidad de organización (tuvimos que reprogramar en el último momento por enfermedad nuestra, y fue súper amable y comprensivo, facilitando en todo momento la gestión), como por el amplio conocimiento de la temática del tour pero también de cualquier otro tema relacionado con Sri Lanka. Fue un auténtico placer conversar con él, hablar de historia y de actualidad, de ecología y sostenibilidad, con un nivel de inglés estupendo. Fue adaptando el tour a nuestros intereses y a las inclemencias del tiempo (cosa nada fácil en época de monzones). 100% recomendable, un must en Galle!
