Kathmandu Food Tour

Manoj offered a very nice tour. Local places with very good food along with his explanations. I would really recommend this tour !

There were only us two in the group so Manjo tailored the tour to our request. We had just eaten breakfast at the hotel so we didn’t want to eat and sample all the different foods but it was very interesting to see the locations and the foods that were available. Manjo is an excellent guide. We ended up having diner at one of the places he brought us to. It was excellent ! Thank you.

Manoj’s food tour was AMAZING! He’s chosen delicious-off-the-beaten-path places that we would have never found ourselves. We got to walk around as well inbetween eating. There was something my daughter really wanted to try some Nepali tea, and Manoj made a last minute change on route so we could go and try that. She was thrilled. This is the best tour we have ever done. Thank you Manoj - we’d definitely recommend this for families, groups or individuals.

I had a wonderful time with Manoj. He was knowledgeable, the food was tasty, and at places I would have never known about. He offered suggestions for other activities in Kathmandu and helped make arrangements. I would do more tours with Manoj.

The tour was great, even though it was Saturday night and we could not visit some of the places, the places we did go to were excellent. Local places I would never find on my own, Manoj really explained all the food and made us try some delicious stuff!

Manoj is a super friendly and excellent knowledgeable of delicious local food and unique spots and places to that otherwise, as a tourist, I would’ve never found on my own. All the food I tried, I had never eaten before in my previous weeks in Nepal. 100% recommendable!

We loved the Tour. Manoj showed us some really nice Food Spots and told us the history behind it! We even revisited some spots the days after!

I enjoyed the tour with Manoj! We visited several places and tasted local newar dishes as well as other streetfood snacks (and the stomach was OK the next day). A good way to start your acquaintance with Kathmandu.

Interesting walk through the old town areas of Kathmandu. Manoj gave us plenty of information about the local people and their different styles of cooking. We tried some tasty food in hidden places we would never have found by ourselves.

I had the best time with Manoj during this Local Food Tour. I got to experience real local food, all places we went were only with locals and it was all very delicious! Manoj knows a lot about Nepal and can tell you a lot of interesting things. I am very happy I did this tour and would recommend!

We had a very good time walking around Thamel. As it was only the guide and me he really adapted to my wishes and led us to very authentic Nepalese restaurants. He is a very open person who can also give you a lot of general information about the country. Was very happy to meet him!

This was a perfect start to our time in Nepal, the food we tried was incredible, a good variety and different from what we would have tried ourselves. Our guide was very professional and knowledgeable, we learnt a lot about food and local culture. Would strongly recommend!

This is exactly what I was looking for! Introduction to nepalese cuisine, a little bit of culture and food stalls which I never would have found or dared to try out by myself. If you are interested in nepalese food and don’t know where to start, I recommend this tour. Just don’t make the mistake I did and eat a big lunch before 😅

Really nice tour with Manoj! Finally I was the only member of the tour, but Manoj managed making it entertaining. He took me to 6 different places to find local food that would be impossible to find by myself, and told me a good explanation about the origins of each, and also really good conversation about Nepal's history. I would recommend doing the tour with Manoj definitely!

The tour was fun, and the places we saw were off the beaten path.That’s what I loved. I would have liked more information during the tour. All in all a good tour

My time with Manoj was great. We tried several different food options. Since I was the only one on the tour we decided to extend the tour and visit the Pashupatinath Temple and Boudha Supta. The whole day was amazing and Manoj helped put the biggest smile on my face by facilitating a very awesome and informative day, thank you Manoj!!!!

Amazing activity, great guide

I was the only person on the tour so I was able to talk to Manoj the whole time. He was very open and friendly and answered all my questions. He was also able to tell me about Nepal and showed me some of the sights in Kathmandu. The food at the places we visited was varied and delicious. I can recommend Manoj and the tour to everyone.
