It was winter, so it was just Arturo, the guide, and me. He did a fantastic job pointing out all the different birds and vegetation and gave me lots of time to take pictures. I am not the best hiker, but he was very considerate and took lots of breaks to help me catch my breath and to bird watch as we went along the trail. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys nature and wants a peaceful escape from the city.
Arturo was a great guide, track itself was a little more than mediate and also too steep for us. Arturo managed the pace very well and shared a lot of interesting info about Chilean flora and fauna.
Had the best hike !! It was just me and Arturo on the hike but it was a great introduction to the biodiversity here in Central chile! He was super knowledgeable and super friendly! Spoke great English and can pretty much name most birds just by their song! Highly recommend going on a tour with him :)) I had a great day!
He is very knowledgeable about local birds and knew exactly where to find particular species.
We spent a fun and amazing afternoon with Arturo in the foothills just outside of Santiago! We saw and learned so much about the many local birds, and also plant species native to the region. His explanations were very detailed but understandable for us. The walk is totally in the wild, so be prepared with comfortable shoes and water. The experience was even better than expected!
