Had an amazing tour of Soweto with Thabiso. Knowledgeable and friendly. Made sure to introduce us to the community and show us the many places of this township. Also explored the history and relevance of each place. We got to ride in the local taxis between places for the full SA experience. Would highly recommend to anyone curious about this part of SA history. A trip to apartheid museum beforehand will also help in understanding a lot of the places you will encounter.
Great tour to get to know another part of town which everyone new should visit
We had the tour with Thambisho (Nkululeko's partern) and we can only say the best for him and the tour. The tour was very interesting with lots of good spots included and great story telling by our guide. Thambisho was super professional, pleasant and great at his work but most importantly he made us feel safe. Warm thank you😊 strongly recommended!
Soweto es enorme y lógicamente en un rato no se abarca todo pero creo que el tour da una perspectiva que está bien, pasando por diferentes zonas, mezclando presente e historia del lugar. Aunque la fama no es buena en ningún momento nos sentimos inseguros ni muchísimo menos. Es interesante hacerlo con una persona local como Thabiso, con conocimiento del barrio, orgullo de pertenencia y sentimiento de comunidad.
