Amaising experience ! A very good choise to visit SOWETO.
The free walking tour was really good. The guide spoke good English and showed us the different parts of Soweto. Once we traveled with a small local bus, the rest we were walking. It was very interesting to learn individual things about Soweto and getting some information beside the big history.
My husband and I had a fantastic tour of Soweto with Nkuli. He is friendly, personable, and filled with a wealth of knowledge about the challenging and rich history of South Africa and his home of Soweto. We enjoyed every stop of the tour and getting to experience a small piece of local life - walking through various economic levels of the township, visiting the SHALK youth center, taking local transport, visiting iconic locations, and enjoying a great meal at the end. Definitely recommend Nkuli's tour!
Nkuli was a very kind and knowkedgeable guide, taking us through the streets of Soweto and showing us the rich history of the place and its people, as well as introducing us to the delicious (and reasonably large) Kota sandwich. I learned so much from this tour and will recommend it anyone with an interest in the history of South Africa, Johannesburg and especially Soweto.
