Un po' di storia, un po' di curiosità e qualche piccola barzelletta. Nato e cresciuto a Edimburgo, ho lavorato come reporter, autore di articoli e redattore cinematografico per The Scotsman per 17 anni e in seguito ho scritto regolarmente per il Guardian e il London Times. Ho scritto e curato diversi libri, tra cui The Times on Cinema e On Location - The Film Fan's Guide to Britain and Ireland. Più di recente sono stato una guida turistica in televisione nazionale nel programma This Morning.
We decided to take Brian's tour because of his experience as a journalist and writer. We trusted it would be an insightful tour to Edinburgh, and happy to say, we were not disappointed. The nuggets of fun facts he peppered throughout the tour was great and he was very engaging throughout. The walk was also very easy as he took us down slope for most of the tour. Highly recommend to this to everybody!
Brian was an excellent guide. He had a depth of knowledge that made his comments insightful and far more than you could get from looking something up on the web. His quick wit also made the tour and each stop incredibly entertaining. He was easy-going and inviting to chat with as well. We would highly recommend Brian as a tour guide!
