Un po' di storia, un po' di curiosità e qualche piccola barzelletta. Nato e cresciuto a Edimburgo, ho lavorato come reporter, autore di articoli e redattore cinematografico per The Scotsman per 17 anni e in seguito ho scritto regolarmente per il Guardian e il London Times. Ho scritto e curato diversi libri, tra cui The Times on Cinema e On Location - The Film Fan's Guide to Britain and Ireland. This was a really great tour. Brian was a very knowledgeable and engaging guide. He knew his way the only round the principal sites but around lots of interesting back alleys. So he showed us things which we otherwise would never have found on our own. He also has a very interesting backstory as a leading journalist on national newspapers specialising in film – make sure you ask him about ‘Braveheart’ and his involvement in that movie. It was a really great walking tour and I would recommend it without hesitation.
Had a lovely time. Brian was engaging, funny and informative. He managed to get us through the city center during Fringe in a comfortable way, which I consider amazing. Would highly recommend.
