Ein bisschen Geschichte, ein bisschen Wissenswertes und ein paar kleine Witze. Geboren und aufgewachsen in Edinburgh, arbeitete ich 17 Jahre lang als Reporter, Feature-Autor und Filmredakteur beim Scotsman und schrieb anschließend regelmäßig für den Guardian und die London Times. Ich habe mehrere Bücher geschrieben und herausgegeben, darunter „The Times on Cinema“ und „On Location – The Film Fan’s Guide to Britain and Ireland“. Zuletzt war ich als Reiseführer im nationalen Fernsehen in der Sendung „This Morning“ zu sehen.
This was a great walk about the city. Really enjoyed it.
This tour was absolutely superb. Brian is extremely knowledgeable but what really made the tour so memorable was his friendly and humorous style. I was also very impressed with his ability to continue to entertain and inform when responding to comments, questions and occurrences that took him "off script." I have not only already recommended Brian's tour to a number of people, I am also in the process of arranging for myself and a group of my friends to go on one of his tours in the near future.
I thoroughly enjoyed our tour round the old town with Brian, he is engaging and threads stories together wonderfully!
