Dida was great! She brought such a vibe into the tour. She introduced herself and Prague. She was very informative, knowledgeable, smily, happy and wonderful! She also added a few extra stops that she thought were relevant in Prague. She also made a few jokes to make the time that we were standing fun and entertaining. She recommended places to go and traditional Czech dishes. Great tour guide!
Incredible Free Walking Tour of Prague – WWII History If you’re interested in Prague’s WWII history, this free walking tour is an absolute must. It offers a deeply moving and insightful look into the city’s role during the war, covering key historical sites and untold stories with incredible detail. Vaclav - our guide - was exceptionally knowledgeable, bringing history to life through engaging storytelling and well-researched facts. From the Nazi occupation to the courageous resistance efforts and the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, every stop on the tour was filled with fascinating details. The guide also shared rare photographs and documents, which added a powerful visual element to the experience. One of the highlights was visiting the crypt of the Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, where Czech resistance fighters made their last stand against the Nazis. Standing in that space, hearing the story of their bravery, was both chilling and inspiring. Despite being a free tour, the quality was outstanding. The guide was passionate, patient with questions, and clearly dedicated to ensuring we left with a deeper understanding of Prague’s WWII history. For anyone visiting Prague and interested in this period, this tour is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
