Ciao! Mi chiamo Şahika. Sono originaria di Istanbul (odio İstanbulite) e ho trascorso diversi anni vivendo in altre città diverse e frenetiche, tra cui Houston, Boston e Londra. Penso di poterti dare una prospettiva unica di Istanbul confrontandola con altre metropoli e, in definitiva, mostrandoti come non sia come nessun'altra città al mondo. Sono una viaggiatrice accanita e apprezzo profondamente le connessioni spontanee che si creano sulla strada; puramente per curiosità condivisa e un accordo tacito di condividere un momento insieme. Cercherò di creare questa atmosfera conviviale nei miei tour.

Our tour guide Sahika was very knowledgeable and gave us a very informative and entertaining tour. I got to see many cool places that I couldnt have explored on my own. I was really satisfied overall. Also thanks for the recommendations at the end :)
I don’t think I’ve ever had such an insightful tour in my life…Sahika has truly created something deep and unique. The tour goes way beyond the usual, that is, just being fed historical facts that you consume in a semi-aware dream state. Instead, Sahika offers insight into her and the broader Turkish population’s experiences of living in modern day Turkey and supports her points against the rich backdrop of the city, which really came together for me as we walked down the beautiful streets of Istanbul with the group. To be clear, this was not just a touristic experience. It was a universal and very human experience of culture, history, stories, dreams and community. Can’t recommend enough!!!
