We had a great time on the tour and learned a lot about recent Turkish history and the way of life in Istanbul. The guide is open to all questions and topics and helped us understand different cultural aspects that interested us! Recommended 100%!

Best walking tour i’ve experienced! Sahika is clearly passionate about the city she calls home and is proud to give guests a glimpse of the historic and gentrified districts of her hometown, her favourite haunts and some truly hidden gems that we would not have otherwise discovered on our own. I found myself loving the city more with every corner we turned and every new place she took us. She is generous with sharing her vast knowledge of the rich history, culture, socio-economic and political facets of Istanbul and greater Turkey, as well as offering recommendations on dining and places to explore. Sahika kept us engaged in conversation the whole time and is refreshingly honest about grassroot sentiments and the oft unspoken aspects of everyday life of a local. No question/subject was off the table. I had a great time and felt i learnt a lot about this beautiful city and country in 2 hours. I would in fact be happy to participate in this tour again the next time i’m in Istanbul, but at the late evening tour just to experience the city after sundown. Highly recommended!

Great job got to see a great view of Istanbul and get an insiders look into Istanbul and seeing some areas you dont usually hear about or see.

Sahika amazed us with her charme and knowledge about the recent history of the city. We could feel her love for Istanbul and felt it a little bit ourselves. The rooftop view was amazing and she had a lot of recommendations. But I kind of missed the bars, restaurants and street food she mentioned in the description.

It was an enjoyable tour, especially to the viewpoint, which was worth it. The guide focused more on recent aspects of Turkish history, which was a nice change from the historical tours. Not as much focus on restaurants, bars and such as the tour description might suggest.

Great and unique night tour with a very private rooftop view of the city. Sahika did a great job showcasing some of the unique features of Istanbul and the time flew by. She gave great recommendations for the coming days off the beaten path

The tour was great! The guide is very professional and interesting. We saw a lot and in addition to historical facts, we learned a lot about culture, customs and what life in Istanbul was like before. In addition to the sights, we also received various recommendations for what to visit in the coming days. I highly recommend it, you can really feel that the guide enjoys his job and works with his heart.

Very informative tour covering important historical facts. Walking was in good pace and with many stops. As for a such a short tour it gave a lot of information and helped understand Istanbul better. Highly recommended.

The tour was very interesting and the guide was super knowledgeable! It was sometimes difficult to understand the information because we all come from different countries so we all have different accents. It was a very good introduction to the city and I’m glad we took it!
