We will meet at Sultanahmet Square, in front of the German Fountain , a central and easy to find spot. From there, we will begin our adventure.
Itinerary:
- Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya): Admire the imposing architecture of this historic landmark , once a basilica, then a mosque, and now a museum . Learn about its fascinating history as you admire its majestic dome and exterior details .
- Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii)
- Hippodrome of Constantinople: Explore the remains of this ancient stadium , where chariot races were held in Byzantine times. See the obelisks and columns that still stand.
- Basilica Cistern (Yerebatan Sarnıcı)
- Topkapı Palace
